Speaker Bio:  PGA Professional Nathan Morris has been with GolfTEC since 2007 and has taught over 15,000 lessons. He was named to Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Colorado list in 2011, and has earned Golf Digest Top 100 Clubfitter honors twice. He was also Colorado AvidGolfer’s top instructor in 2014.

Speaker Bio:  Ty Walker was the first coach employed at GolfTEC in 1996. The Colorado PGA Section Teacher of the Year in 2002 and Horton Smith Award Winner in 2005, he has taught over 45,000 lessons. Walker is known by his students as the Coach of Champions and the Boss of the Bunker.

Topic Summary:  This series cover the rules behind the most common situations that golfers might encounter on the course.

Speaker Bio:  The members of the CGA Rules Committee (Chief Rules Officials) have extensive learning and experience and have demonstrated outstanding ability in tournament administration and have superior knowledge of the Rules of Golf. Chief Rules Officials regularly work events for the CGA, CPGA, CWGA, JGAC, Colorado Open Golf Foundation, NCAA, and NAIA. Additionally, they work USGA Championships and numerous other national championships.

Topic:  Swing TRU Motion Study: The Most Comprehensive Fact-based Swing Study Ever Conducted

Topic Summary:  For over 20 years GolfTEC has helped people play better golf with expert coaching. Video feedback and proprietary motion mesurement software. Having collected data from over 90 million golf swings during this time, our mission was to make sense of that powerful information and provide a fact-based analysis of how body positions within the swing correlate to skill level.

Speaker Bio:  PGA Professional Nick Clearwater, GolfTEC’s VP of Instruction, is reponsible for training and mentoring more than 600 Certified Personal Coached across the GolfTEC network. A well-respected instructor in his own right, Clearwater has worked with tour professionals at the highest levels.

Topic Summary:  Talk about using the ground properly creating more clubhead speed. Using training aids properly (Orange Whip & Orange Peel) to create maximum centerfuged force (forward momentum swing of arms allowing your body to respond.) Will also have special guest Jim Hackenburg, inventor of Orange Peel & Whip part of the seminar.

Speaker Bio:  Jason Witczak, a Class A PGA Instructor who specializes in kinesiology and proper setup, honed his playing and teaching skills under the watchful eye of the great Manuel de aa Torre who was his instructor in his home state of Wisconsin. Jason is best known for increasing distance with proper training, regarless of physical ability. Jason enjoys teaching all levels of players, from PGA players, to developing junior athletes and all golf enthusiasts in between. Jason’s previous work has encompassed developing, instructing and managing John Jacobs Golf School’s junior summer camps at Orange Tree Golf REsort, where he coached a record 170 yougn players with colligiate institutions that will further develop their growth. Most recently, Jason qualified for the presitigious 2012 National Club Professional Championship. Not only has he been successful on the golf course teaching golfers of all ages how to improve their game, he is also a former NFL football player. Jason and his lovely wife Jaime are parents of three young boys and Jason devotes much of his free time coaching his sons hockey and baseball teams.

Speaker Bio:  Doug has had a passionate affair with golf since his youth. He has competed and coached for over 35 years, directing his energy towards passing on golf’s trasitions, ethics and joy to those that are passionate about golf. His most recent focus has been on training junior golfers that want to be competitive through Jake’s Academy and Jake’s Place which provides financial support to kids that need help. Doug has been mentored in golf and life by some of the finest people surrounding the game including Arnold Palmer, Lee Travino, Jake Warde, Warren Smith, Bill Eschenbrenner, Jim Loehr, Bob Proctor, Kendal Yonomoto and Doctor Richard Olshock.
